Dear Dumb Dairy #1: Let's Pretend This Never Happened by Jim Benton

This is a real diary. It is a really good book. I hope if you read it or ever had read this book then you will probably say, "Wow. That is a good book." My favorite part is when she told me about her peach story. It was really funny. I hope that more people read this book. If not, that is ok, but just try to. I recommend this book to whoever has a diary.

On the Banks of Plum Creek by Laura Ingalls Wilder

Historical Fiction
Did you ever want to know the life of a pioneer. In this book Laura Ingalls is going to school for the first time and dealing with a snob, Nellie Olson. Laura is always busy helping her Ma. She finds a great way to relax, Plum Creek. My favorite part was when Laura and Mary had a party and Nellie Olson was rude to their Ma. Laura got her back by waking up the old crab. She told Nellie, "Run! He will pinch your toes off." Nellie ran into some muddy water and when she came out of it, leaches were all over her legs. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes Historical Fiction.

Do you ever feel scared but act like your not?
that's what Shelia doe--a 10-year old girl with lots of crazy ideas. My favorite part was when Shelia and her friends, Mouse, Tarry and Tammy, go to Mouse's house to play hide-and-go-seek when nobody's home. Then go through the milk slot. Tammy gets stuck. They try crazy things to get her out. I would recommend this book to any one who likes funny stories"

Ladies and gents, boys and girls, Spaghetti and Meatballs For All by Marilyn Burns and Illustrated by Debbie Tiley is a great book. Okay let's get going. My most favorite part was the ending because I love happy endings. If you--yes you--like funny books, just read Spaghetti and Meatballs For All.

Ok. Well, the title is Fancy Nancy and the Posh Puppy and the author is Jane O'Conor. My favorite part was when Nancy's friend's dog plays fetch. Nancy's dog just hid behind her. I recommend this book because it has lot's of pretty clothes.

And then their airship gets attacked by pirates.

If you like stories about pirates, flying and even a little romance, you'll like this one.

The title of my book is Ralph S. Mouse by Beverly Cleary. My favorite part is when one day Ryan brings his pet mouse to school and he sneaks Ralph in his shirt pocket. In the middle of class time the teacher heard a sound from Ryan's desk. Then the teacher said, "Do you want to share something with the class?" so ryan stands in front of the class and takes out Ralph. All the classmates said, "He is so cute." Then the teacher said, "Your right and that is why we are going to have a mouse party." If you like mice and adventure and motorcycles, I recommend this book. "

Swindle by Gordon Korman

Realistic Fiction 
Do you like to collect cards? My brother and I collected Yu-Gi-oh cards like this card Ancient Gear Dragon. This card is like this story Swindle by Gordon Korman but it's a baseball card.

My favorite part is about a dog named Luthor because there was a girl named Savannah who tried to tame Luthor. On the last day she gave up. Then Luthor almost bit her two fingers off. Savannah then lost her temper. She said,"You should be put on a rocket ship and blasted to Alph Centaur. You evil soulless ill-tempered psychopathic canine!!" If you like cards and evil dogs I recommend it and think you'll get a kick out of it!! HAPPY READING!

My favorite part is when Joody Moody and her friend Rocky get peed on by a taod and they call it the toad pee club. I like that part because it is funny .

Jones and the Stupid Smelly Bus, by Barbra Park. My favorite part was when Junie B. called 911 because the door to the bathroom was locked! Yikes! I like it because the police come, fireman come, and an ambulance comes. The principal comes, and mother.
Do you like funny stories if you do you should read this book! It's so funny!"

This book is very powerful. The book is called Hachiko Waits the author's name is Leslea Newman. I like this book because it is full of action and a lot of powerful things. It's a little funny and really weird too The dog dies but the book isn't over. The end is kinda romantic and kinda cool too. I would recommend this book to people who like powerful books or if people like books that aren't that funny I'd take this book.

My favorite part of the book is when Harry opens the chamber of secrets because you get interested, and excited, and you wonder. I like that feeling.

There is a kid named Greg. He has a friend named Rowley. Sometimes he acts like a baby. One time when they had a sleep over Rowley kicked a pillow and Greg thought it was annoying so he put a lifting weight under the pillow. When Rowley kicked it he hurt his foot really bad. He had a funny face when he kicked it. It was kind of sad because Rowley had to get stitches.

"From a long line of liars, there's none higher upper than my fibbing big brother, the Edwurd Fuddwupper." This book is called Edwurd Fudwupper Fibbed Big. The author is Berkeley Breathed. The story is told by Ed's little sister Fannie. One of my favorite parts of the story is when Edwurd tells Mabel she has been voted queen of Brazil. This is one of my favorite parts is because Mabel believed him. You should read this book so you can find out who comes to Ed's town to find the liar.

Leven Thumps: Leven Thumps and the Gateway to Foo; Leven Thumps and the Whispered Secret by Obert Skye

My story is called Leven Thumps. It is a fantasy story and is about a boy named Leven. He has a hard life. His mom and dad died right after he was born. He rolled off his mom on the floor because she died. So her aunt took him and she is very mean.

She has a job that I think is very dumb. It is folding napkins. She always complains about it to her husband who is very lazy and he does not have a job. Anyways later in the book, Leven meets a creature that can talk and turn invisible. Then Leven experiences his power of getting visions of the future. He meets a girl named Winter and she has powers too. It's freezing things. She ran away from home because she hated her life. But if Winter and Leven ever touch hands then something bad will happen. My favorite part is at the end of the book because the author always leaves a mystery so you really want to get the next book!

I recommend this book to people who LOVE to read and like adventures because it has a lot of pages and is fantasy. Plus I heard there is going to be a movie. When I grow up I want to be an author because Obert Skye made me want to be one. All of my books are dedicated to Obert Skye!

Mr. Tucket by Gary Paulsen

What would you do if you got attacked by a few stray Crow Indians? That is one question answered in this Mr. Tucket book by Gary Paulson. For the record, Mr. Tucket fought them and won.

An exciting event was when Mr.Grimes, a mountain man, was fighting against Braid, a fierce war leader of the Pawnees, and braid was killed. When reading this your heart is pumping with excitement. You will rejoice when the bad guy, Braid, dies. If you like Mountain Men and Indians, grab some beef jerky and sit for a read.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Kinney, Jeff

"I'll be famous one day, but for now I'm stuck in middle school with a bunch of morons. That was a quote from Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney. The main character is Gregory and as you can tell by the title he is not the most popular kid.

My favorite part is when Gregory wants to be a treasurer. Gregory wanted to give the cheer leaders a limo because they were tired of sitting with the lozers in the band, on the bus.

Gregory thought it would be funny to have two football player's come and juest need a pump and Gregory would'nt give them the money to get a pump.

Ranger's Apprentice by Flanagan, John

The book is about a ninja-like person called a ranger. Rangers are extremley quite and are great with the longbow and throwing knives. But enough about the ranger. His apprentice is a 16 year old boy named Will. I liked the part were the knight and the apprentice got in a fight. I liked this because it was kinda cool. I recomend this book to any one who likes fantasy because the auther's desription of it. it a great book and it made me want to read the rest.

Mr. Twit was a very hairy man.

My favorite part was when the monkeys had the birds help them glue everything to the ceiling! I liked the book because Roald Dahl makes the funniest books that I've read!
