Lightning Thief, The by Rick Riordan

Fantasy
Watch out if you're half human/half god because there are monsters on the loose. The Lightning Thief was written by Rick Riordan. I like the part when they're walking on the sidewalk in the night and find a little restaurant and go inside and ask for some food. A lady gives them free food and takes them in the back of the  restaurant to eat. So they eat up and then head to the front were they found some statues. One statue looks like Grovers uncle and, in fact,  it was Grovers uncle. The lady that fed them was actually a monster. I recommend this book to people that like reading about Zeus, Poseidon, Hades and monsters like hellhounds, minotaurs, and cerberus.
