This book is about the life of Ruby Bridges. It mainly talks about when she was six and had to go to an all-white school. Although she didn't deserve it, people thought that blacks shouldn't have the same rights as whites. At her school nobody allowed their children to go to school because they didn't want them to go to school with Ruby and that made Ruby feel very bad.

Patrick Ewing is one of the best NBA basketball players I have ever heard of. He is in the hall of fame which is pretty cool. In 1982 Ewing made the most exciting game in college! He is the 12th best college basketball player and the 51 best NBA player. l recommend this book if you like NBA.

Amelia's trip around the world was unsuccessful and sad. Amelia is a really talented woman pilot. She once went across the Atlantic Ocean by herself! She then tried to cross the whole world. You will have to read the book to find out more about her. This is a short book but I got some facts. I recommend this book to anyone that likes short books and pilots.
