Annie Oakley was 7 years old and it was the day before Thanksgiving. Annie Oakley wanted to shoot a gun more than anything. So one day she followed her step dad into the woods. Annie thought that if she asked her step dad enough, he would let her shoot his gun. One day she went with her step dad into the woods but then he heard a gobble, gobble. Her step dad said, "Annie, now is your chance. He carefully gave her the gun. BOOM! She shot the turkey.
